Since 2003 Tenders & Contracts has built and developed the UK Tender Library and managed a database of SME's who work to service the multi-billion pound marketplace annually created by Public Sector Procurement. The service is marketed as TenderBuzz.
The TenderBuzz portal has been the source of tendering and subcontract information in the UK for sole traders through to larger companies for 15 years. All key words and codes in the procurement vocabulary are mapped to ensure our clients get to see every tender relevant to their trade.
How it works. All businesses subscribing to the TenderBuzz service have their details made available to Procurement Officers via the "Search Local SMEs" service ensuring local businesses will be awarded the work with minimum travelling. This process enables Public Sector bodies to meet their lower carbon requirements and ensuring an eco-friendly status is achieved whilst supporting local communities. Every subscribing business has a page of their own on our Portal that allows them to enter details about the services they can provide, along with their Company Logo and full company contact details.
Businesses registered with TenderBuzz receive email alerts advising them about upcoming tenders in their area from the Public Sector on the day the work is issued for public notice. They can then log in and see full details of the work available, including contact details and full information to enable them to register their interest in the work that is available. With just two clicks registered businesses can start the tendering process by communicating directly with the relevant Procurement Officer via the TenderBuzz portal. The Procurement Officer is required to reply to every application to ensure open and fair practice.
